This is the first time I've done an inclusive story and actually finished it, so I guess I'm pretty proud of myself. This got a very positive review from everyone I've shared it with, and I'd like to thank you all for your support!!
I'd also like to point out that these pages have not been edited in any way. In a perfect world, I would replace the text and add a few small effects like gradients. I still need to do that, but these are the raw pages you see before you.
I may draw portraits of Thaleron and Nina and such in the future, but there will be no more pages from this story. ;3 It's up to you to interpret where they go, and what happens in their lives... (I would love to see your fanart, too!!)
I got one interesting, in-depth critique about the second-to-last pages that said something along the lines of: "At the end of the book I dont think he would want to split either of them, knowing what he had to go through with loosing Nina. I think he would have thought about taking Ninas other half for himself or completing his mission to become a whole mindless beast. In times of severe loss one ponders the negative reactions to life and people rather than accepting the loss. In this story its like he gets a second chance for the love lost and having not dealt with the loss in the first place I wouldnt think his frame of mind with be on the 'straight and narrow'. Like you say in the story he realizes that he cannot do onto others as what was done on to him. For the story I dont think he would care too much about a man he didnt know but more to protect Ninas other half from the loss."
This was very interesting to me, and I thought on it for quite a while. Would he have done it anyway? I still don't think so, because if both the other halves were still halves, they were fated to die young... Nina could never become a whole human, so she was destined to die like her other half did. Thaleron had a chance, but if he became a full human, it was a guaranteed way to lose Nina again, since he would outlive her. Plus, seeing her happy was how he moved on... like he finally got closure, and could say good-bye. So I believe everything panned out the way it should have... I hope you all think so, too.
Actually I'm a week and a day late. That sounds like I'm pregnant... I'M HAVING A CENTAUR.
Glad ya enjoyed it~! Endings are so tricky, almost worse than beginnings - I'm not sure whether the timing is too rushed or too dragged out, y'know? But I'm pretty happy with this. ^_^ For once.

Yeah, I did have a page limit (for Shoujo Phonebook). But I could have had one or two more pages, I think, so it is my fault. I'd still like to work with these characters... ^^

I absolutely loved it, and yes, it brought tears. Wonderful read.
I think middles are harder than both beginnings and ends. To be honest, this did feel a little rushed, but I was assuming you had page limitations.
