 ~Lolita-style Machi Kuragi. The idea was to draw a "label" - and I wasn't sure where to go with that. ;^^ It would be simple to draw a pre-existing label... Gothic Hanajima, for example. Or Punk Hatsuharu. I wanted to do something funny, that wouldn't happen normally, but... I wasn't sure how to do that, either, since I dislike 'mocking' characters. I would never draw Kyo in a dress, for example, even though I like Yuki-kun much better than him. x3 So I decided I wanted to draw Machi in a very girly ensemble, since that's both like and unlike her. xD It looks like a costume from Aaya's shop. It's somewhere between "sweet lolita" and "punk lolita", with those strong colours... I'm up to Volume 16 (chapter 97), so although they've started delving into the enigmatic Machi's past, they haven't revealed much. I'd really like to see more of her! There's not a lot of Machi fanart, since she's not juunishi, and she's not in the brief anime series. ^^ Machi likes Red! Kuragi Machi is copyright Takaya Natsuki's Fruits Basket. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
