Spent many hours working on this -- please pay attention to the pretty colours and ignore my lack of perspective! -sobs in a corner- I've just lost a bunch of contests back-to-back, and it would be a real pick-me-up if I could win this one...!

This is an obscure (although canon) couple, even to those who have watched the full anime/read the manga. I won't post spoilers, but this is Shiranuma and Lisa, enjoying their lovely porch as a married couple. I was touched by their story, and by who they become in the present-day story. ((I actually found a screencap of their outfits here: [link] ))

If you are unfamiliar with the series Kekkaishi, what are you waiting for? It's one of my favourite manga and anime, which is saying something. Action, romance, unique powers, hilarious comedy, ghost dogs... Yellow Tanabe rocks my socks. :heart: Someday I'll stop drawing fanart...

The colours are like majorly amazzzzziiiiiing~! How did you do the sky? It doesn't look like just colour pencil....
You inspire me, I need to colour better!! >o<
It has a kind of, "Gone with the Wind" feeling to it for some reason. I would have like to see Shiranuma's face a little tho, the complete back of his head is a little awkward. Im not a Kekkashi fan, but I appreciate the concept and theme of the picture ^^

Breathtaking :D The detail in your work never ceases to amaze me. I can se every detail and blend in your linework and it just looks so beautiful. Digital rendering has it's perks but nothing can quite capture art like traditional work, and you my dear, are queen of traditional artwork XD

It's sad to see not many people doing it these days, inclusing myself. Seeing your art makes me want to pull out my dusty 72 set of Derwents and start a piccy from scratch. Background and all. (Even though I drew a lot of characters traditionally I rarely sketched backgrounds.)

I adore Kekkaishi~! I have for a long time, heheh, just never been able to finish a drawing before. I have a handful of half-completed images of Gen, Tokine, Madarao, and others... ;P
